a commissioned mural for a private client

i painted this on the wall of a staircase, so there was no room for a projector or to photograph the whole wall and use a doodle grid in order to transfer my design to the wall. so I freehanded this based on my digital design

I also didn't have any of the existing wall color on hand, so I couldn't make many mistakes! that said, the bee was challenging and in desperation, I realized that the green color I used for the flower stems + white was a close enough match that I couldn't tell the difference. So I was able to do a few minor touch ups where needed
